Die-hard Transformers fans, it's time to rejoice as Southeast Asia's first ever Transformers Cybertron Convention opens in Singapore.
Running from 11 to 14 March at Resorts World Sentosa, the convention will feature an extensive exhibition of Transformers toys, engaging activities, design workshops, thrills from the Transformers ride and even panel discussions on the popular franchise.
At a media preview, Yahoo! Singapore got a glimpse of some behind-the-scenes preparation work the day before the opening.
Based on that, here's what fans can expect: toys, toys and more toys. Transformers toys, of course.
The extensive exhibition area will include a range of toys from the earliest generations of the series, so older fans can relive their childhood memories.

Many of the toys to be displayed come from hardcore Transformer enthusiasts, who don't mind lugging down their personal collections for the public to salivate at.
One of, quite literally, the biggest attractions at the exhibition is an impressive 22-foot tall Optimus Prime character statue, one of the largest Transformers statues in existence.

Various other activities include drawing classes by top Hasbro artists, a "fastest fingers first" challenge, and even a dance-off with Bumble Bee.
Intended as a platform for Transformers fans worldwide to come together in celebration of their love for the hugely successful brand, this biennial event is not likely to disappoint its audience.
