Fast-food restaurant Quick really went to the Dark Side and created a burger with black buns dubbed the ‘Dark Vader’ burger.

The posters which have been created to promote the upcoming re-release of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace in 3D reveal a limited edition Quick menu of ‘Dark Vader’ and ‘Jedi’ burgers.
The burgers won’t debut in Quick restaurants until 31 January but the ad for the burgers has attracted international media attention, including coverage on US networks like Fox News and CNN and generated lots of talk on social networks.
While the odd-looking Vader burger is raising a few eyebrows, patrons can rest assured the buns have merely been dyed, not burnt.
The fast-food restaurant told French newspaper L'Express that it used a vegetable-based colorant commonly used to dye confectionery, E153. In place of black liquorice flavourings, the bread tastes of black pepper and poppy seed.
Will the appearance put fans off?
Well one supporter tweeted: “You’re telling me you wouldn’t eat a #DarthVader burger?...I find your lack of faith disturbing.”

Accompanying the Dark Vader burger is the Dark burger associated with Darth Maul and the Jedi burger with a mysterious white topping between the beef patty and bun.
Quick’s Star Wars burgers will be launched across France on the 31 January and be available until March.
